How to find us

Coming from Dublin or Limerick/Shannon Airport via Galway: Take the road for Castlebar (N84) via Headford. At the crossroads in the centre of Headford continue straight ahead following the signpost for Cong. 2 Km after passing the small village of Glencorrib you find the signpost for Inis Mhic an Trír turning left onto a country road. After 1 Km this road veers left and after a further 100 meters there is another signpost for Inishmacatreer Quay turning right into a one-lane country road.
Continue now straight ahead, driving eventually over the causeway to the island and from there keeping along the lake shore until you see our thatched cottage on your right hand side.

Coming from Sligo or Knock Airport: Take the road for Galway (N17). Take the exit at Claremorris (11 Km past Knock). Drive through the town until you you see the signpost for Ballinrobe just before passing a railway crossing. Turn right and keep on this road until you reach Ballinrobe. Here initially follow the signpost for Galway and once you pass through the town look for the signpost for Cong. This road (R334) will lead you through the village of Neale from where you continue on this road direction Galway (not Cong). You will pass then the village of Cross and you will continue to follow the signpost for Galway. 2 Km after Cross there is the signpost for Inis Mhic an Trír, turning right onto a country road. After 1 Km this road bears left and after a further 100 Meters there is another signpost for Inishmacatreer Quay turning right into a one-lane country road.
Continue now straight ahead, driving eventually over the causeway to the island and from there keeping along the lake shore until you see our thatched cottage on your right hand side.
